DR STEFAN MUSCHENICH - Germany

Muschenich is a medical doctor and clinical psychologist, a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy. In 1987 Muschenich conducted a key orgonomic study. A double blind, placebo controlled, randomised study investigated Reich's orgone accumulating cabinets. This medical study supported Reich's claims regarding the effects of the orgone cabinets. Parasympathetic stimulation of various body systems was confirmed with a high level of statistical significance (P=0.01). This study has been accepted as a university thesis (Marburg, Germany). For many years, Muschenich has been active as a student of orgonomy, including undergoing personal orgone psychiatric therapy, doing reserach, publishing papers and books, and giving public lectures and workshops on orgonomic issues. In 1995, Muschenich published a Medical Doctor´s thesis/book on "The Concept of Health in the Works of the Physician Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957)". An extensive examination of Reichs´s theory of the biopathies was undertaken. Muschenich has contributed a chapter to Demeo´s and Senf´s (1998) compendium of orgonomy "Nach Reich" as well as writing numerous articles for orgonomy journals and giving lectures in Europe and the US. Muschenich is developing his own therapy centre in Germany.

Muschenich has particular interests in physiological orgone research and psychiatric orgone therapy. Further interests include the Reich Blood Test. Muschenich is well grounded in the entire German and English orgonomic literature. He has also taken part in cloud-busting operations.
