Orgone-acupuncture is the combination of Chinese Medical (CM) acupuncture and orgone therapeutic treatment. Dr Inza in Argentina and Southgate in the UK are the only practitioners at present. Southgate's practise uses a traditional CM diagnosis (tongue and pulse diagnosis, meridian/zang-fu based diagnosis (Chinese energy systems named after, but not identical to, the body organs). This CM diagnosis is then paired with a diagnosis based on Reich's orgone theories. Areas of stuck energy are identified within the body segments identified by Reich. These two systems work well together. One system is mainly vertical (CM) whilst the other is mainly horizontal (orgone). Reich's energy maps deal with stuck energy on the horizontal plane. CM maps where energy flows along the vertical axis. Treatment uses healing work, massage on stuck areas of energy stagnation, a select number of points to be needled (only 2-4 needles usually). These select points are then attached to an orgone-acupuncture accumulator or orgone-acupuncture dor-buster. The latter device is water based and extracts energy from the point. |
